The Espresso Geckos Blend is a custom-formulated espresso blend for my friend's business, Espresso Geckos & Exotics. Made with single origin coffees from Colombia, Brazil, and the Democratic Republic of Congo, this was given more time in the development phase to provide a more in-depth extraction. The naturally processed Brazilian and washed Colombian bring forward a jam-like sweetness, while also bringing forth the dark chocolate notes expected from darkly roasted Southern American coffees. The robusta, although potent, was added just enough to give the bite expected with espresso, while also providing a little more caffeine and thicker crema. Despite the name, no reptiles or amphibians were used in the making of this blend.

Altitude: 1,400+ MASL
Processing: Washed, sun-dried & parabolic drying beds, plus natural.
Varietals: Caturra, Castillo, Variedad Colombia, Typica, and Robusta.
