Meet Johnny, a handsome Shar-Pei with a nose for adventure. Estimated to be three to four years old and weighing about 40 pounds, Johnny is a medium-sized boy with a cream, fawn, and gray coat and a dignified way of carrying himself. Johnny's Lively Explorer Blend is a medium roast that matches his personality perfectly: balanced, friendly, and always ready for the next outing.

Johnny came to the Humane Society of Lebanon County alongside another dog, Jane, after the two were found together as strays. The kind people who found them cared for them for several weeks, hoping their family would come looking. When no one did, Jane and Johnny made their way to the shelter to begin their next chapter.

Johnny is friendly and independent, happy to hang out with his people but just as content doing his own thing. He loves sniffing and exploring, especially when he has the freedom to roam the play yard, and every so often a case of the zoomies takes over. Squeaky stuffies are a favorite, snacks are always welcome, and he knows sit on command. Because he is so treat motivated, he is glad to show off his skills whenever something tasty is involved. Once the exploring is done, Johnny loves to settle in for pets and attention before heading off to find his next adventure.

Johnny is house-trained, neutered, and vaccinated. He has the potential to live with another dog after a meet-and-greet at the shelter, could live with a cat with proper introductions, and would do well with children ages 10 and older.
