Description
In support of Autism Awareness Month, we partnered with the Lebanon Cedars Coffee Club to introduce "Pieces." Made up of the leftover pieces from my medium roast batches, this represents that no matter how different each bag of coffee is, they're still perfect and delicious. Like those with autism and other developmental disabilities, their attributes create a distinct value and one-of-a-kind personality that displays strengths and talent, crushing stereotypes and obstacles. Although released for April, this will be a year-round option.
The Lebanon Cedars Coffee Club is a "coffee shop" run by students in the Lebanon Middle School's academic support group. 10% of the proceeds from this blend go directly to their cause. The "Pieces" as shown on the label, was written by a student.
To maintain better accountability of the proceeds, it is released only in 12 ounces.
